The Member of Parliament for Central Tongu, Hon. Alexander Roosevelt Hottordze, has received a delegation from the Bakpa Development Association, together with Chiefs from the Bakpa Traditional Area, for a courtesy visit.
The delegation expressed appreciation to the MP for his presence and support during last year’s Klokpoza Festival, which contributed to the successful celebration.
Discussions centred on this year’s festival, particularly the role of the MP’s office and the Assembly in supporting the event and mobilising key personalities to grace the occasion.
The delegation also disclosed plans to engage the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, and the Central Tongu DCE, Hon. Addison Dodzi Mornyuie, as part of efforts to strengthen collaboration with political leadership.
The Bakpa Development Association further pledged to work closely with political authorities to advance the development agenda of the Bakpa Traditional Area.
Hon. Hottordze described the engagement as a positive step towards strengthening cooperation between traditional authorities and political leadership for the development and progress of communities in Central Tongu.
