Mafi-Asiekpe is among six facilities inspected by HeFRA, alongside facilities at Wodome in Agortime-Ziope, Dzodze in Ketu North, Mepe-Zortikpo in North Tongu, Sogakope in South Tongu and Whuti-Srongbe in Anloga.
During the inspection, the team confirmed that the Mafi-Asiekpe facility has been equipped with essential clinical, diagnostic, patient-care, infection-prevention and emergency equipment to support quality healthcare delivery.
The supplies include blood pressure monitors, thermometers, pulse oximeters, weighing scales, glucometers, oxygen cylinders, examination tables, hospital beds, wheelchairs, gloves, syringes, IV supplies, essential medicines, malaria and pregnancy test kits, furniture, sanitation materials and other basic healthcare resources.
The inspection forms part of efforts to ensure that facilities are adequately prepared to deliver safe, accessible and equitable healthcare services at no cost to beneficiaries, particularly vulnerable residents.
The initiative is expected to strengthen healthcare access in Mafi-Asiekpe and contribute to Ghana’s broader goal of achieving Universal Health Coverage by 2030.
